Help and support

Ferchr finds every photo of you from the events you go to. If something isn’t working, the answers below usually help. If not, write to us.

How do I find my photos?

Scan the QR code at the event (or enter the event code), then take one selfie. Ferchr shows every photo of you from that event. Photos that might be you appear under Maybe you so you can confirm them.

A photo of someone else is in my list

Open it and tap Not me. It disappears from your list, and confirming or rejecting Maybe you photos makes later results better.

How do I save or share photos?

Open a photo and tap Save or Share, or select several in an album (long-press a photo, then tap the others) and save them all at once.

Who can see photos of me?

Hosts upload photos to their event. You only see photos of you. When someone posts a photo of you publicly, Ferchr tells you. Your setting decides whether your face shows or is blurred (More → Privacy), and you can blur yourself in any photo, any time. A photo of only you can be taken down.

Can I find my children’s photos?

Yes. A parent or guardian can add a child under 16 in More → Family. Their face is kept under your account and deleted when they turn 16.

How do I delete my face data or account?

In the app: More → Privacy. Delete face data removes only your saved face. Delete my account removes your face now and everything else after 30 days. More on the delete your account page.

I host events or take photos

Sign in as a host in the app or on ferchr.com, create an event, upload photos and share the QR code. Guests find themselves on their own.

Notifications don’t arrive

In the app go to More → Notifications, make sure push is on, then tap Send a test notification. It tells you what’s wrong if one doesn’t arrive.
